Meta is looking for an experienced Manager to lead the facilities materials management team to support the service of physical infrastructure. The team is responsible for logistics support and material planning for various technical teams that operate physical infrastructure. The leader will build strong partnerships with various internal business partners, support scaling the planning organization, manage material escalation & coordinate execution activities, drive tooling automated processes and ensure operation efficiency in the growing business area. This position is for an experienced professional who can mentor and grow teams, operate complex programs, maintain engagement with multiple stakeholders, and envision the future systems and processes to support growing customer needs.
Manager, Infrastructure Materials Management Responsibilities
  • Engage with internal customers and gain understanding of their current and future needs. Shape the customer-facing vision of the team and roadmap internal activities in support of the vision.
  • Responsible for the facilities materials management team in line with Meta and Infrastructure Business Operations Support (IBOS) strategic priorities, including end-to-end global program development, identification and oversight of strategic priorities, continuous improvement, development, standardization, and implementation of processes, tooling and training.
  • Responsible for managing Enterprise Asset Management strategic improvements, where appropriate for spares and material support.
  • Strategic decision maker for global FacOps support across people, process and systems. Enable standardization and scaling of current processes. Proactively monitor, manage, and report on execution of team deliverables.
  • Understand the underlying factors behind material demand through data analysis and cross-functional collaboration. Sense changes to demand and adjust proactively.
  • Formalize and standardize data analysis and coordination across IBOS, which includes, planning, fulfillment, finance & transportation, to mitigate and manage risk.
  • Determine optimal supply chain execution through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Collaborate with partner teams on sourcing, quality, and production issues. Support team efforts with vendors, manufacturers, and sourcing teams on tactical and strategic items.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors or higher in engineering, operations, supply chain management, business or other technical discipline/relevant experience
  • 10+ years of experience in materials lifecycle management, supply chain management, inventory management, operations, manufacturing, or other work in the areas
  • 8+ years people management experience in a matrixed organization. Experience identifying, managing and solving complex problems
  • Demonstrated leadership experience - such as influencing partners, organizations, successful mentoring, supporting growth of other employees and teams, etc.
  • Track record of successfully leading people & initiatives in a geographically distributed cross functional environment
  • Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional projects
  • Experience mentoring individual contributors
  • Interpersonal and communication skills to bring simplification to complex engagements
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging data driven models to drive business decisions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or MBA
  • Experience in logistics operations in a global high growth environment
  • Experience dealing with a high degree of ambiguity and driving clarity across teams
