This position will be responsible for setting a strategy that drives the way Meta is positioned amongst businesses in India. India is amongst the most important markets for Meta and presents a great opportunity for us to bring millions of business to mobile as they start their digital journey, and help businesses of all sizes drive results through our platforms. The role is critical in building the Meta for Business brand with a meaningful proposition and positioning the platform invested in helping businesses grow. The position will be part of the India team and will be a key partner to the Marketing Solutions team in India. Additionally, the person will liaise with our Global Business Marketing teams based in Singapore & Menlo Park to build and adapt global programs and drive relevance of messaging and execution of business marketing initiatives. This position is full-time and based in Gurgaon.
Head of Business Marketing, India Responsibilities
  • Be the custodian for business brand positioning of the Meta Family of Apps and Services, Facebook, Instagram & WhatsApp
  • Develop the business brand proposition and executing with consistency of messaging across all initiatives. Drive the creation of world-class marketing programs to inspire, educate and empower the entire advertiser ecosystem - small and large businesses, creative and media agencies - to believe that FoAS helps them grow their business
  • Develop & execute world class marketing programs that drive business growth and impact economic growth through entrepreneurship. Own the advertiser funnel and design programs that address challenges at every part to support business growth Champion industry transformation to mobile by developing thought-leadership programs to help our advertisers transform
  • Work closely with cross-functional counterparts in sales, partnerships, product, policy, comms etc to ensure cohesion and scalability for advertising messaging, campaigns and product launches
  • Work with global and regional counterparts by being the key voice of market in programs and scaling global/regional programs in market
Minimum Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree preferred, MBA or equivalent a plus
  • 14+ years of experience in marketing across B2C and B2B
  • Demonstrated capacity for developing industry leading marketing strategies in an Internet and/or advertising environment
  • Experience working with senior marketers at both agencies and global brands and expertise supporting and enabling a sales organization
  • Strong decision-making skills with successful experience influencing and leading cross-functional teams and stake-holder management
  • Independently leading communication and activation creation and deployment
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams across levels
