Facebook is seeking exceptional candidates to join the Marketing Science team. In this role, you will be leading measurement strategy for one of the most important clients on the Meta platform. We’re looking for people with strong analytical, quantitative programming and critical thinking skills as well as familiarity with large data sets and data manipulation tools. To successfully influence how advertisers conduct and use measurement, the candidate should be able to work cross-functionally with teams such as Sales, Product, Engineering, Creative Shop, Business Engineering, Product Marketing etc. The candidate should have a strong record at influencing and communicating effectively across multi-layer, multi-org stakeholders and working with individual contributors up to executive level leadership.
Marketing Science Partner - Amazon Responsibilities
  • Manage a highly complex and technical driven client with multiple line of businesses
  • Engage with clients and both Meta and client’s product and data science partners to measure true business value by building and operationalizing measurement strategies that highlights how the client can improve business outcomes by employing highly customized measurement techniques
  • Innovate and drive client, vertical, and industry adoption of preferred measurement methodologies, products, and approaches
  • Design tests to showcase the power of good measurement using client data and Meta technology tools
  • Conduct in-depth custom ad effectiveness studies and bespoke analyses to understand the relative impact of different marketing strategies across digital platforms and across media
  • Provide feedback to and collaborate with Product, Business Engineering and Partnership to identify opportunities for new features, products, and partnerships and drive client engagement around measurement innovation, including product alphas and beta
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years experience in a directly related field such as data science, marketing science, and/or marketing analytics in media measurement space (6+ years with a Masters or 4+ years experience with a Ph.D)
  • Experience independently scoping and executing unprecedented, customized projects with clients and/or cross-functional stakeholders
  • Experience analyzing and manipulating data sets using R, Python, SQL and etc. and applying statistics where appropriate to understand patterns and provide insights
  • Experience communicating technical content to all types of audiences and influencing at senior levels
  • Experience with advertising measurement methods and technologies for direct response outcomes, including field experiments, experimental designs and etc.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as engineering, analytics, statistics, or data science related fields
  • Experience in leading highly quantitative advanced analytical work
  • Demonstrated leadership experience at an industry level and with senior clients

$160,000/year to $221,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable. In addition to base salary, Meta offers benefits.
