Ensuring that we are honoring people's Privacy in everything we do across Meta is one of the top priorities across the company. In order for us to do this at scale while enabling our teams to continue to move fast, we are creating infrastructure that has privacy baked in at the data level. The fundamental building block of this privacy aware infrastructure is establishing data accountability across the company. The Privacy Ownership team is looking for a PM Lead who is passionate about automating privacy across Meta. The team’s mission is to ensure teams at Facebook are accountable for what they build and how it’s used. As the PM Lead you will build and cultivate high performing teams and work with cross functional partners on projects to make sure that all new products and data we collect is privacy safe from the very beginning.
Manager, Product Management, Developer Products: Privacy Ownership Responsibilities
  • Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution for both internal developer products and productivity products.
  • Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products.
  • Drive product development with a team of 60 plus world-class engineers and designers.
  • Manage and grow a team of product managers, while also expanding existing product work streams.
  • Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction.
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products.
  • Coordinate and scale cross-functional efforts across the globe.
  • Understand Facebook’s strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are recognized best in the industry.
  • Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm.
  • Drive the strategy for a portfolio of products to create a deliberate plan and a cohesive strategy.
Minimum Qualifications
  • B.S. in a technical discipline or equivalent product management experience
  • 10+ years product management experience
  • 3+ years experience as a people manager (4+ people)
  • Experience hiring and growing teams
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Organizational and analytical skills
  • Understanding of the technical architecture of highly scalable web applications
  • Experience designing user interfaces – experience creating examples through wire frames and mock ups
Preferred Qualifications
  • Software development experience as a developer and/or manager
  • Experience managing an organization of product managers, including building and growing the team
  • Knowledge of Privacy regulations and compliance approaches
  • Experience working with Machine Learning
