Meta is seeking a Program Manager on the Strategic Response team to assist with project management on high priority, cross-functional company issues. This position will play a key role in supporting initiatives across the company including geopolitical crises, elections and competitor strategy. Candidates should have a high level of maturity, strong executive presence, and strong judgment in complex high-profile situations.
Program Manager, Strategic Response Responsibilities
  • Support in proactively managing key priorities and initiatives across the org, including through liaison with colleagues, organizing meetings and follow-up, and helping to leverage leadership time and attention on critical matters.
  • Assemble, coordinate, and drive as “quarterback” working groups for cross-team/functional work
  • you will be specifically tasked to own a workstream.
  • Absorb a significant amount of information from a variety of inputs in order to help frame decisions and communicate clear updates.
  • Conduct analysis and work with Meta colleagues to prepare background for meetings with key partners (e.g. identify goals and talking points, provide background on attendees, issues, problems or decisions that need to be made).
  • Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective prioritization and response to fast-moving issues.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in cross-functional project/program management in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in crisis preparation and response
  • Communication skills, with experience compiling clear and concise briefing materials and owning stakeholder engagement
  • Experience managing escalations and counseling leadership
Preferred Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience running integrity programs
  • Solutions oriented approaches to issues, with a possession of drive and determination
  • Experience shifting priorities while maintaining organization and control
  • Experience with confidentiality and using discretion

Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable. In addition to base salary, Meta offers benefits.
