Meta is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its growing finance team based in Dublin. Financial Accountant Responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing multiple EMEA & APAC Infrastructure entities from a statutory perspective
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS or applicable local GAAP
  • Drive processes to navigate the statutory recognition of complex US GAAP transactions
  • Review the work of our outsourced partners
  • Manage processes related to tax payments, statistical filings and other obligatory filings
  • Support the Statutory Audit process and ensure timely and accurate preparation of audit deliverables
  • Promote strong business partnerships and manage service levels with third party service providers
  • Driving projects and making impact. This role has a focus on adding value rather than operational accountant duties
  • Support ad-hoc projects as required
  • Support the Finance team in continuous improvement and innovation. Includes design, testing and roll-out of financial reporting systems/tools/processes
Minimum Qualifications
  • Excellent team player who is very comfortable working as part of a larger team located across multiple geographic locations
  • Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
  • 3+ years relevant industry PQE with large, fast-growing, multi-national company
  • Solid knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and local GAAP
  • Strong computer and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently, to work under pressure and to handle several projects at once
  • Excellent planning, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organised and thorough with desire for continuous improvement
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Oracle ERP an advantage
  • Experience in using Data analytic tools like Tableau
