Director, Program Management, NPE
This role will support the New Product Experimentation (NPE) organization by leading a number of technical program management efforts to drive product development efficiency, support engineering excellence and ensure policy compliance. You will partner closely with NPE product teams rapidly innovating on experimental prototypes. You will ensure the right cross-functional alignment and support, tailor project management frameworks to this incubator environment and lead overall execution of key projects. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, get-things-done professional who can think strategically, adapt quickly, and rapidly earn credibility and trust across all levels of the organization.
Director, Program Management, NPE Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement technical program management support and best practices for NPE product development, establishing tracking structure, updating milestones, status, and dependencies
  • Manage new rapid prototyping program, iterating on process to deliver optimal results
  • Primary point of contact to represent product prototypes with cross-functional partners to drive alignment and secure needed approvals
  • Partner with product teams, marketing, data science and research to understand, analyze and communicate results and learnings from product experiments
  • Own and manage critical compliance policies and process for NPE, including usage of third-party tools and administration of technical resources
  • Support NPE engineering community and culture
Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years of program management experience or equivalent experience
  • Experience shifting priorities while maintaining organization and control
  • Experience navigating complex business structures while maintaining confidentiality and discretion
  • Experience establishing work relationships and operating autonomously across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience supporting senior executives as a program manager or Chief of Staff
  • Technical knowledge and experience in developing and shipping software
