This role will be part of the Marketing Science Team focused on supporting our sales teams with helping clients understand their consumers on Meta and the effectiveness of their ad spend. The person in this role will be tasked with advising, executing and monitoring studies for clean execution against key client business questions. They will provide consultative support including advising internal and external stakeholders on measurement strategy and design. As opportunities arise, they will work directly with our Sales teams to identify and execute proactive scalable programs in market. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and critical thinking skills and a passion for generating data-based insight. They should have talent for taking complex concepts and distilling them into clear accessible formats. This role will challenge the candidate to not only provide strategic direction to advertisers on their measurement efforts, but also to develop strategic insights into marketing on Meta platforms through big data analysis, consolidated meta-analysis of tests and deep client consulting.
Marketing Science Partner GBG Scaled, APAC Responsibilities
  • Work with a broad array of Meta advertisers to support them and our sales teams in measuring true business value and growing their businesses through Meta platforms
  • Use a variety of methods such as tasks, office hours, consultation sessions, and outbound communications to support the day to day needs of the sales organization and clients
  • Recommend product and solutions for different client needs and challenges as it pertains to media, marketing, or key measurement questions
  • Setup and monitor ad effectiveness studies for Meta advertisers using a variety of measurement solutions and products
  • Engage in client conversations, presentations of results, and consult internally with the sales teams to ensure the right design and setup of measurement studies
  • As opportunities arise, execute and/or lead key proactive programs on identified local, regional or global priority areas in close partnership with other cross functional teams (XFNs) and sales
  • Drive scaled adoption of advertising insights and recommendations identified through data analysis, measurement and meta-analysis through activation programs co-designed with sales and XFNs
  • Build automation tools and dashboards to quantify opportunity, discover advertising insights and track impact
  • Deliver trainings/education for the sales teams through dedicated sessions and boot camps
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience delivering data-driven insights, to influence decision making of internal sales, marketing teams or directly influencing external client's decisions
  • Experience influencing and partnering with stakeholders across organizations
  • Statistical analysis experience, including but not limited to experimental design, statistical significance testing
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data-sets, statistical software such as R, SPSS, SAS as well as data extraction tools such as Hive and/or SQL
  • 3+ years of relevant experience, media/marketing measurement or analytics experience and general love of data.
  • Experience communicating technical content to a general audience
  • Track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is required because the role manages relationships / communications with clients in a Hong Kong / Taiwan where communications are generally made in Mandarin
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of online advertising and familiarity with branding and performance advertising and marketing frameworks, including ad effectiveness measurement techniques.
  • Media Agency, Research Agency, Client Media Research, Insight, Analytics Team experience
  • Advanced degree in statistics, economics, marketing analytics, data-analytics or a related quantitative field preferred.
