Meta is seeking a highly experienced professional to lead and manage a growing team of regional facilities operations managers and their supporting staffs throughout all of our offices and R&D labs in APAC (excluding India). This management position will report directly into the Director, Facilities & Real Estate APAC, and will have both: (I) managerial responsibility for 4 direct reports and team roll-ups which includes CWs; and (II) operational and financial accountability for 1.5 million plus square feet of total space over 20+ buildings. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Facilities team making Meta the number one place to work globally. This full-time position will ideally be located at our regional HQ in Singapore. Travel to sites within the APAC & International region will be required for this role (30 - 50% of the time).
Head of APAC Facilities Operations Responsibilities
  • Be an engaging, highly visible, and charismatic team lead, and oversee and be accountable for all aspects of facilities management and operations (including all related budgets) throughout the APAC region.
  • Be a trusted partner for internal stakeholders and clients, and maintain key relationships with external vendors.
  • Leverage data and new technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation in operational performance, site resiliency, sustainability, and overall workplace experience, while also seeking financial efficiencies throughout the regional portfolio.
  • Provide facilities expertise and input into both office and critical lab environment designs and partner with our construction team to deliver incredible new spaces.
  • Accept project hand-offs from our construction team, plan and launch engaging FDOBs for our internal business units, manage any requisite post-opening construction work, and lead all smaller renovation projects at our APAC sites.
  • Drive alignment and consistency of operational standards and procedures across the APAC & International region and closely partner with other regional leads to seek global consistency wherever possible.
  • Help foster and maintain Meta culture at all of our APAC sites, and partner cross-functionally to develop external community-related initiatives to meet our mission of building community.
  • Be an energetic and engaging leader with a high level of personal integrity and business ethics, who is excited to work in a fast paced, ever changing, dynamic business.
  • Develop training and personal development plans for all direct reports and develop a plan for emerging leaders.
  • Be responsible for the development and management of the Opex budgets and forecasts in consultation with the Meta Finance, APAC Business Analyst and Facility Operations Vendor- Regional Account Manager.
  • Delivery of comprehensive compliance / effective risk management through service provider and internal cross function partners
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 10+ years of facilities operations management experience in a multi-office environment across multiple time zones, including experience as a team lead (especially in structuring and scaling a team) and primary responsibility and accountability for sizable operating budgets.
  • A demonstrated knowledge of facilities operations and budgeting.
  • Expertise and thorough understanding of relevant vendor contracts and building leases, and strength in negotiating their key business provisions.
  • Demonstrated organizational and communication skills, and customer relationship management experience.
