This role will support Meta’s Reality Labs Product Operations and Devices Operations teams which include go-to-market functions, revenue, COGs, and S&OP planning across RL’s total product portfolio. This person will lead a team that drives the financial planning process for units, revenue, cost of goods sold, operating expenses and headcount. The Finance team provides critical decision support for both in-market and new product launches around unit & revenue forecasting and total operational planning including supply chain and logistics. Core responsibilities include business partnering, financial analysis and modeling, developing and helping the business to execute against financial plans and budgets, and analyzing and communicating financial and strategic analysis. Successful candidates for this position and team will have a bias toward action, exceptional partnership and communication skills, and know how to balance getting the details right while still moving fast. Reality Labs Go-To-Market Finance Director Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Product Operations and Devices Operations teams (Sales, Demand Planning, Logistics, Supply Chain, etc.) on monthly S&OP, forecast, budget, LRP and ad hoc decision support
  • Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing team of 15+ members across Product Operations and Devices Operations Finance
  • Oversee financial planning processes that deliver accurate forecast and budget scenarios
  • Create strong business partnerships with leaders of all levels and functions across Reality Labs
  • Prepare formal presentations with recommendations and summaries of financial results and forecasted results to executive leadership
  • Collaborate with groups within Finance and Operations including accounting, vendor management, fixed assets, and tax
  • Support ad hoc requests to assist function with tactical and strategic decision making
  • Enhance operational efficiency in a growth environment while maintaining fine attention to detail and forecast accuracy
  • Build effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners and work collaboratively with FP&A team members
Minimum Qualifications
  • 12+ years of financial analysis experience from a Consumer Electronics/Hardware company with 8+ years of experience managing a team across multiple finance functions
  • Experience supporting a Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing Ops organization, an S&OP process, and reporting experience with Product P&Ls
  • Experience with building financial models in Excel
  • Experience with accounting concepts and financial planning
  • Experience presenting and communicating concepts to executive leadership
  • Experience working and problem solving independently, to organize workload and priorities, and complete tasks on time
  • Leadership experience partnering and influencing various functional leaders across an organization
  • Experience working in a cross-functional environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of global retail landscape to help determine best practices for B2B and B2C distribution
  • Experience with sales planning/sales
