We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to evolve our cart and checkout experience on meta.com. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payment tech, e-commerce, online marketplaces, web analytics, cart and checkout strategy, with experience developing purchase funnels for complex transaction types products. They will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, and be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams to solve complicated problems. This role offers significant opportunities to evolve the e-commerce category for Meta and the industry as a whole.
Payments Product Manager Responsibilities
  • Optimize the purchase funnel of meta.com
  • Develop strategies and roadmaps for ecommerce products at Meta
  • Develop and launch new features and improvements that align with Meta's mission and are recognized as best in the industry
  • Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment
  • Incorporate data, research, and market analysis to inform purchase funnel strategies and roadmaps
  • Plan, initiate, and manage web-based products and platforms related to ecommerce
  • Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative tools, platforms, and/or products that differentiate our first party sales channel
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive purchase funnel optimization, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups (design, legal, etc.), and guide the team through key milestones
  • Integrate usability studies, research, and market analysis into the purchase funnel requirements to improve engineer productivity and enhance user satisfaction
  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of the purchase team
Minimum Qualifications
  • 8 years of experience with payments, e-commerce or similar industry experience.
  • 3 years of working on a purchase funnel or similar consumer/enterprise product experience
  • Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent)
  • Comfortable talking in depth with Data Scientists about web analytics
  • Experience defining a mission, vision and strategy for a successful consumer product
  • Experience going through a full product lifecycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization and pre/post-launch execution
  • Experience working in a technical environment with a broad, cross functional team to identify opportunities, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups (design, legal, etc.), and guide the team through key milestones
  • Requirements gathering across diverse areas and users, and converting and developing them into a purchase funnel solution
  • Strong leadership, organizational and execution skills
  • Ability to influence and drive alignment with senior Leadership and Business Stakeholders
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly, accurately, and persuasively using data
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working on e-commerce products
  • Experience working on B2C products in addition to working with local internal stakeholders
  • Experience leading build/buy decisions and leveraging both internal and 3rd party tools to evolve a product space
