We are looking to hire an experienced enterprise SaaS partner sales leader to lead our LATAM business. This leader will be responsible for bringing the WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram business messaging suite to market in LATAM and this role will be part of the Global leadership team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience leading channel/partner sales with a proven track record of delivering against goals/quota. In this role, you will be responsible for defining the strategy for LATAM and working with the team to hunt and then farm the right set of partners and clients. Today, LATAM is a team of about 20 people across Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, and Argentina. The team is growing, and one of your first responsibilities will be hiring new team members in 2022. To succeed in this position, you should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-functionally to build consensus. We are looking for candidates that are creative, dynamic and looking to expand and advance their regional partners as measured by the impact on client and business messaging volume growth in LATAM.
Director, Business Messaging, Partner Sales - LATAM Responsibilities
  • Forecasting channel revenue accurately leveraging CRM skills
  • Cultivating professional relationships with partners and their key executives and sales leaders
  • Act as our partner's champion, providing world-class relationship development and thought leadership across an assigned partner base to increase revenue and drive incremental business opportunities
  • Work with Business Messaging Leadership, Regional Partnerships, and Marketing teams to identify key partners, build a strategic plan, and partner enablement model
  • With the Business Messaging partners, define tailored value propositions and create detailed go-to-market plans that strengthen our value proposition to the marketplace while providing new revenue opportunities with our partners
  • While leading the LATAM region, this role is part of a global team and thinking as a global leader is required. Collaboration across our global XFN is critical to success.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 15+ years of tech partner sales in enterprise SaaS successfully implementing channel strategy to drive increased sales or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience managing, developing and leading teams
  • Experience using analytical skills to determine which programs work and using insights to build on that experience
  • Experience carrying a revenue generation responsibility, driving enterprise sales via channel partners
  • Experience driving influence and building strong relationships with decision makers across all levels of partner and prospect organizations
  • Experience effectively developing new partner relationships and solidifying existing ones
  • Experience formulating a partnership vision, strategy, and execution plan
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Up to date on the trends and market leading companies in business messaging
