Manager, Research Scientist, Marketing Science Responsibilities
  • Coach, manage, and develop a high performing team of Marketing Science Researchers
  • Support individual team member's career growth
  • Work with a wide variety of cross-functional partners and stakeholder to prioritize projects for the team
  • Enable the team to create product measurement learning agenda in partnership with cross-functional teams including the respective product team
  • Create operational and communication efficiencies for the team to ensure their time is spent optimally against company priorities
  • Ensure the team designs accurate field experiments for product evaluation or best practice development and maintain high analytical fidelity
  • Be the champion of Facebook measurement methods and Marketing Science Research philosophy to the product organization
  • Up-level the work of team and broader Marketing Science Research to cross-functional leadership to drive product direction
Minimum Qualifications
  • Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Quantitative Methods, Engineering, or related field and 24 months of work experience in job offered or in a research analysis-related occupation. Experience must include 6 months of experience in the following:
  • Experience with applied statistics including experimentation or causal inference
  • Knowledge of advertising/marketing industry
  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams and strategic initiatives using quantitative research and data
  • Experience with communicating and partnering with technical and non-technical teams
  • Coaching and mentoring experience
