Marketing Data Analyst Responsibilities
  • Analyze and maintain marketing metrics to identify cause-effect relationships between marketing actions and behavioral and attitudinal outcomes.
  • Plan, execute, report, and monitor marketing campaigns.
  • Translate marketing data insights into actions and recommendations that will drive positive brand sentiment, user growthand engagement, as well as marketing effectiveness.
  • Define and develop quantitative analysis, ad-hoc reports,and models to support marketing efforts.
  • Work closely with marketing team and other analysts to develop datainfrastructure and tools to make analytics easier and more effective.
  • Monitor industry statistics and forecast andtrack trends.
  • Measure, improve, and scale the performance of marketing initiatives.
  • Partner with marketing, research and product teams to design, execute, measure and improve the impact of marketing efforts.
  • Producevisual-like charts along with presentations to communicate findings to internal stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Market Research, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or a related field. 24 months of experience In the job offered or in a closely-related occupation. Experience must include 24 months in each of the following:
  • Leading strategic implementation and planning for risk and growth
  • SQL (Oracle, Vertica, Hive, or MySQL)
  • Developing data-centric strategies to drive effective ad campaigns
  • Conducting tests , including lift studies, on targeting, scheduling, or creatives of campaigns to measure incremental impact and improve on cost efficiency
  • Analyzing results and making data-driven recommendations for optimization of future campaigns and automating any best practices as standard processes
  • Building dashboards and reports to track effectiveness and efficiency improvement over time, and guide future decisions
  • Utilizing Python and Alteryx to manipulate large data-sets and automate tasks
