Meta is looking for a high caliber Business Planning & Operations (BP&O) Manager to be part of the GAMES BP&O team. The BP&O team is looking for a manager to support the VP of Meta’s App Monetization business in GAMES Org. Within GAMES BP&O, this manager will lead a team responsible for building and running the foundational operating cadence within App Monetization globally in meeting its strategic objectives by driving business planning and review efforts, strategic initiatives and managing / supporting the overall operating cadence of the business. This team will work in collaboration with the BP&O teams within GAMES and find scale, efficiency and consistency. Your team will partner closely with this global leader of the App Monetization business as well as with cross-functional leaders in Business Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, and Finance.
Business Planning & Operations Manager - App Monetization (GAMES) Responsibilities
  • Be a thought partner and influencer with leaders and other internal stakeholders on key business initiatives, programs, resource planning, and special projects
  • Frame decisions and contribute a strong point of view on how to build out the business
  • Be the person that can connect the dots between teams to identify areas for improvement, efficiency, and collaboration
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new markets, products or verticals, including organizational design to enable these strategies
  • Stay up-to-date with trends in the industry, including knowledge of current/potential partners
  • Partner with the GAMES BP&O leadership team on all business planning and operational activities
  • Lead a team of talented individual contributors to deliver on goals
  • Run global business processes (e.g. goal setting, portfolio management, annual planning) Globally by collaboration with regional BP&O members
  • Help the GAMES BP&O team identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency and support the execution of changes
  • Support the rhythm of business (e.g. weekly revenue update, quarterly business reviews) and provide insights on Gaming and App Monetization sales and revenue performance to the GAMES leadership team and global stakeholders
  • Provide insights on business performance to the leadership team to identify challenges and opportunities and support decision-making
  • Coordinate with global BP&O teams to improve processes and the rhythm of business by acting as the voice of the GAMES BP&O team
  • Drive implementation of strategic decisions through operational execution in systems, processes and tools
  • Navigate through ambiguity and complexity to overcome obstacles with moderate direction
Minimum Qualifications
  • 8+ years’ business experience preferably in the digital media, technology, online gaming or Internet space operating with large and complex organizations. 1+ years of people management experience
  • Problem solving, analytical experience with large database, senior relationship management and projects at a consulting firm or in a corporate strategy/operations function
  • Communication and presentation skills with proven success, specifically with an ability to translate insights and data into actionable recommendations for senior leaders. Experienced in using Excel spreadsheets for running data analysis and building quantitative models with complexity for business decision making.
  • Demonstrable project management, operations and process execution skills delivering high quality output in a timely manner while handling multiple priorities and limited resources
  • Experience building and managing relationships with senior stakeholder and cross-functional partners (i.e. sales, product, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
  • BA/BS Degree, MBA a plus
  • Experience working in or with Digital media, internet or technology industry, or willingness to learn about these domain
  • Technical skill and experience with SQL, Tableau
