We are seeking a technically sophisticated and detailed oriented individual who will serve as a member of Facebook's Business Planning & Operations team. This position will have a day-to-day focus on providing analytical, strategic, and operational support for Facebook's Business Ecosystem Partnerships (BEP) organization with the primary objective of enabling leadership to make effective, analytically driven, and strategic decisions. BEP enables our partners to maximize their effectiveness, with the mission of being the catalyst for people and businesses to connect, understand, and grow through trusted partnerships. The ideal candidate is passionate about finding insights in data and have a background in a technical or quantitative field, have experience in problem-solving using large data sets, and can communicate strategic recommendations effectively with leadership.
Business Planning & Operations Analytics Lead-Business Ecosystem Partnerships Responsibilities
  • Identify insights and trends to drive business strategy, short and long-term growth, operational excellence, investment in product support and optimization of tools and systems
  • Apply expertise in quantitative analysis and data visualization to tell the story behind the numbers and provide recommendations to leadership
  • Effectively plan and collaborate with team members on data-driven projects to improve internal tools, systems, and data pipelines
  • Establish & refine rhythm of business analyses and weekly reporting cadence for BEP leadership
  • Help establish short and long-term goals that will advance the organization’s productivity through analytics
  • Perform ad hoc analysis for BEP, our stakeholders, and Business Planning & Operations leadership
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 6+ years of work experience involving analytical rigor as typically seen in, but not restricted to, functions like finance, business operations, etc. or industries like consulting, banking, etc.
  • Experience analyzing and deriving meaning from unstructured data sets
  • Demonstrated problem-solving experience with experience providing business insights and recommendations from data analyses
  • Experience utilizing both qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis techniques
  • Experience presenting technical content to non-technical audiences and leadership
  • Advanced SQL experience
  • Excel and Tableau experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or graduate degree in an analytical field
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and driving initiatives in a cross-functional environment
  • Experience Leading and managing analytic teams
  • Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
