At Meta, our Leave team provides in-depth support at all levels of the company to ensure the successful execution of our Leave programs. We are looking for an International Leave Manager to manage a team of Leave Specialists and an onsite Vendor Leave team, supporting 39 markets across EMEA, LATAM and APAC. As the ideal candidate, you will have significant previous experience in Operations and Benefit / Leaves Management in a fast-growing multinational company. You will have strong Vendor Partnership experience and demonstrated success managing multiple activities for Operations/ Leave/ Benefit Programs.
International Leave Manager Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of Leave Specialists responsible for escalated and complex leave of absence cases across EMEA, LATAM, and APAC
  • Sets and deploys clear expectations and goals for individuals and the team, and holds them and self accountable for success
  • Oversee performance (SLAs) and quality of offsite vendor and internal Meta team responsible for day-to-day support of Leave of absence programs including systems, escalations, and employee experience
  • Analyze trends with programs, and consolidate data/information to present for review with primary stakeholders to help drive decisions based on data
  • Analyze leave program utilization and operational data to identify improvements and make recommendations on program changes to key stakeholders
  • Act as a point of contact for governance/compliance/audit leave activities including business continuity
  • Conduct audits of data to ensure processes and policies are being managed and data quality is improved
  • Identify and communicate business issues to key stakeholders
  • Manage and escalate system and processing issues and liaise with internal business partners on resolution
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including HR, legal, benefits, and payroll
Minimum Qualifications
  • Extensive experience working in high pace International HR Operations or Benefits
  • In-depth working knowledge of leave laws and regulations
  • Significant Vendor Management experience
  • Comfortable in data analysis and its explanation
  • Inclusive people management experience
  • Ability to effectively and empathetically communicate, via excellent written and verbal skills
  • Experience navigating cross-functional teams and dynamics
  • Ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving company and team environment
