This is a captain role on the “Privacy SWAT team”, which we internally refer to as the Cross Pillar Team or XPT. Our scope is Privacy-org wide and we’re responsible for supporting the highest priority areas. This comes with a lot of novelty; each deployment is different.
Cross Pillar Product (XPT) - Privacy PM Responsibilities
  • Captain strategic initiatives for company-wide problems (such as new regulations in Europe), negotiate approach with executive leadership, develop execution plan with partner orgs, and ensure we meet deadlines and commitments without affecting the company's ability to execute
  • Stand up new Privacy teams and areas, establish direction and set them on an impactful course with clear plans
  • Fully support an entire Privacy Area where we have major need and current staffing gaps
  • Accelerate our ability to meet privacy commitments by developing long term plans and priorities with Privacy Aware Infra
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience in ambiguous problem spaces as a PM (or similar role) at Meta
  • Able to navigate complex tradeoff decisions at all seniority levels
  • Comfortable with high levels of ambiguity
  • Experience with XFN collaboration and cross-company execution
  • 8+ years in Product Management or equivalent
