Global Risk Operations​ (GRO) Mission is to advocate for and protect every person, community, and business from risk. The Global Risk Operations SEO (Specialised Enforcement Operations) team is an operational team in GRO seeking an individual with extensive operational leadership experience to join our Middle-East and North Africa team. The SEO team specifically focuses on high priority, complex or regulatory enforcement demand, where our systems or scaled solutions need specialised support. SEO team is flexible and agile, bringing enforcement expertise that can be deployed to shifting priorities and dynamic emergent situations, necessitating local context, language, policy, community or functional expertise. The successful candidate will support a team focused on advocating and protecting the Middle East and North Africa community through content review and enforcement as well as collaborating across the organization to advocate for the community’s needs.
Global Risk Operations Manager, Middle East Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the SEO MENA team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and operational excellence and drive delivery on multiple programs across regions and business groups.
  • Sets and deploys clear expectations and goals for individuals and the team and holds them and self accountable for success.
  • Facilitate execution with speed and simplicity, meeting core operational KPI’s, while making balanced and prioritized decisions that maximize impact while minimizing cost (people, time, resources)
  • Drives the strategy, prioritisation and success of the team's projects, which contribute to multiple areas of the organization
  • Influences key business decisions to optimize productivity and value within the org while bringing stakeholders onboard and looping relevant people into the discussion.
  • Clearly represent and advocate the community’s needs through thorough risk assessments and provide integrity recommendations and directions on the best course forward using operational, risk, policy and contextual awareness into the decision making.
  • Influences key business decisions to optimize productivity and value within the org and product/ business area
  • Contributes to community through leading organizational efforts to build and sustain diversity, culture, recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, and/or development programs
Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in Operations Management with a record in delivering business value using strong process/project management practices in technology operations/trust and safety space.
  • 6+ years of people management experience including management of senior individual contributors and ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Experience leading large, diverse and geographically dispersed operations organizations, specifically in workflow management, user support and project management.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment and in leading through ambiguity and change.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities and a proven track record in successfully leading operations teams focused on process optimization, rigor, standardization, and efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Contextual knowledge of the Middle East with practical operational and work experience there
  • Language skills (Fluent/Native Arabic)
