Our Design, Engineering and Construction (DEC) team thinks from Foundations to Chip and is committed to continual optimization of the delivery process at each level. Our Data Center organization and its sub teams operate in a matrix team structure and the Lead Construction Manager will have the responsibility for New Build projects, GC and trade partner relationships, team member development and relationship management with key cross functional operational partners (Facilities Operations, Site Operations) at the site in a culture of collaboration, safety and quality unparalleled in the data center construction industry.
Lead Construction Manager - Singapore Responsibilities
  • The Infrastructure Data Center organization and its sub teams operate in a matrix team structure and the Lead Construction Manager will have the responsibility for New Build projects, GC and trade partner relationships, team member development and relationship management with key cross functional operational partners (Facilities Operations, Site Operations) at the site in a culture of collaboration, safety and quality unparalleled in the data center construction industry. The Lead Construction Manager is responsible for large scale green field projects and will be part of a team of matrixed Safety, QA/QC and Project Controls (Cost + Schedule) professionals at site toward predictable outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or similar degree.
  • 10-15+ years experience in construction and project planning.
  • Experience with ground-up construction and greenfield site development requirements.
  • Experience in construction management, capital budget management, and knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, building codes and safety standards including fire protection regulations.
  • Negotiation experience and experience providing solutions to complex problems under pressure.
  • Experience with MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Overall understanding of building systems including mechanical, electrical, building management system, and fire protection in a data center/mission critical building environment.
  • Knowledge of CPM scheduling methodologies and familiarity with Primavera P6.
  • Data center or mission critical building development and construction experience.
  • Familiarity with retrofit projects in live data center or other mission critical buildings, including development of Methods of Procedure (MOPs).
