Partner Engineer Responsibilities
  • Apply advance knowledge of Meta’s products, technologies, and business in order to build solutions to solve for problems at scale.
  • Independently break down coding projects into tasks and partner with all applicable teams and partners to meet pre-established goals.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback while quickly actioning feedback from code reviews conducted of your code.
  • Maintain relationships with partner teams and both internal and external clients and present technical opportunities in a consulting capacity.
  • Assist in onboarding of new team members.
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ship and launch production level code with an emphasis on long-term maintainability, in partnership with all appropriate reviewers, in manageable pieces with relevant documentation and test plans.
  • Analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Identity and fix errors in code.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or in a business engineering or computer-related occupation. Position requires five years of experience in the following:
  • 1. Programming languages: Python, Javascript, Java, C++, or GO
  • 2. Build highly-scalable performant solutions
  • 3. Debugging tools such as: gdb, Android Studio, Debugger, or Flipper
  • 4. Software development Life Cycle (SDLC) phases, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment
  • 5. Software development tools: Code editors (VIM or Emacs), and revision control systems (Subversion, GIT, or Perforce)
  • 6. Working collaboratively with team members, understanding project requirements, and explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

$218,503/year to $234,630/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable. In addition to base salary, Meta offers benefits.
