We are seeking a highly analytical and organized individual to join our team as an Strategic Account Manager for the US region. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for devising and implementing a sales strategy at the customer level, aligned with the overall organizational goals. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across internal cross-functional partners - including Category Management, Product Management, Business Development, Data Science, Channel Marketing, and Sales Operations. The position entails establishing and strengthening relationships with Meta 3P Retail partners in the US market to drive the Meta hardware vision. The ideal candidate should be customer-focused, driven to make Meta “our retail partner’s best partner", and thrive in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. This role requires candidate to be located in a Meta RL office a minimum of three days a week and remote for no more than two days per week. This role requires the ability to travel to meet key accounts face to face on a weekly basis.
Strategic Account Manager Responsibilities
  • Leading VR strategy and tactics for corresponding business objectives
  • Define and manage an annual business plan with retailers for key activities to be carried out each quarter, clearly defined resource allocations and planned investments from retail partner
  • Partner with cross-functional peers in Marketing, Ops, and Finance to optimize merchandising, marketing investment, product detail pages, and overall consumer experience
  • Own inventory planning with forecast management for retailers and distributors, ensuring forecast accuracy goals are met and risks and opportunities are identified
  • Leveraging sales dashboards and data tools to share account insights while identifying trends that require attention and publishing a weekly sales report
  • Managing account day-to-day activities and developing Annual Strategy to achieve sales targets
Minimum Qualifications
  • BA/BS in Business or Marketing-related field or similar work experience
  • 5+ years experience in Sales, Account Management or Business Development with accounts in Mass, Consumer Electronics, Club or Dotcom channels
  • Knowledge of Consumer Electronic market, industry trends, market conditions and competitive landscape
  • Proven track record in delivery of sales quotas against business plans
  • Experience managing workload within timeframes
  • Prior experience negotiating annual partner contracts and agreements
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with major US retailers and distribution channels
  • Experience w/ Field Sales activities - 3rd Party Labor staffing and RSA Education

$129,000/year to $187,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable. In addition to base salary, Meta offers benefits.
