Meta is looking for a strategic, results-driven and people-driven Strategic Partner Manager (SPM) for the Global Partnerships team in South Korea. Our team partners with the world’s biggest and innovative creators and media companies on high profile content and product opportunities. We are looking for someone who can champion strategy and growth for our creator and media partners around Family of App products, tools and services. This role will work to partner with creators, public figures, and media from various verticals across Korea, encompassing diverse voices, backgrounds, and creative fields within the key verticals. This position is crucial for driving growth and success with our partners through strategic market development, innovative partner-led programs, new product solutions, and cultivating best in class partner relationships across the industry and country. This job requires high levels of creativity and problem-solving abilities, and we are looking for someone who can think strategically, articulate their vision yet also roll up their sleeves to get the job done. This person will be comfortable in any room to educate, advocate and excite internal and external stakeholders. This full-time position is based in Seoul and reports to Global Partnerships Lead in Korea.
Strategic Partner Manager, Global Partnerships, Korea Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with a diverse network of creators from diverse verticals
  • Drive goals and develop digital talent through strategic partnerships and development plans
  • Build strategic collaborations with cross functional teams and achieve shared objectives and track key performance metrics
  • Serve as Meta's representative in external meetings with partners
  • Plan and execute impactful events and activations that engage partners
Minimum Qualifications
  • Native fluency in Korean and Business fluency in English
  • 5+ years of experience in the fields of creator or talent management, preferably in media, label, technology and/or gaming
  • Deep knowledge of the creators, public figures to media and their ecosystem in Korea, preferably with existing network of relationships with creators, emerging and/or established talents
  • Experience with new business and partner development, building long-term partnerships, and partner management in Korea
  • Managing project independently, with the ability to lead and handle multiple time-sensitive, cross-functional project on deadline
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to serve as spokesperson for Meta
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated excellence in collaboration and relationship-building with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment who is able to pivot as necessary, according to goals and objectives
Preferred Qualifications
  • Expert-level understanding of Instagram and Threads account operations, including an in-depth knowledge of their products and services
  • Established public figure/creator relationships and proven reputation for being a subject matter expert
